The business

LMD Mentor is a business coaching company that sells strategic planning DVDs via a five-tiered network of affiliate resellers.

Over the past six years, LMD Mentor has grown to rely upon its network resellers and has subsequently experienced increased difficultly in keeping track of commission payments. “Staying up to date with a large network of resellers required more time and diligence than we could provide” said managing director Elizabeth Baylis; “We needed an integrated ordering system that understood our business needs and streamlined payment systems without restricting us to a one or two tiered  system.”

The challenge

For LMD Mentor, the challenge was to keep track of orders and commissions whilst reducing fraudulent ordering activities.
As a multi-layered network, it was also important for this client to provide affiliate resellers with access to their sales data and associated commissions. As LMD Mentor wished to only pay down-line commissions to active resellers, a comprehensive reseller tracking system was required.

The solution

Both GlobeCharge Business Pro and GlobeCharge Pay Pro provide integrated network selling support systems.
With a capacity to keep track of orders and commissions for up to five levels of sellers, GlobeCharge provided the integrated solutions that LMD Mentor were looking for. Both the Business Pro and Pay Pro systems also allowed the client to set minimum sales levels for resellers before they receive down-line commissions. With GlobeCharge, network resellers such as LMD mentor are able to view data on commissions, orders and payments quickly and effectively on-line.

The results

GlobeCharge provided LMD Mentor with a comprehensive network tracking system that required minimal manual support.
As well as freeing up staff time, this system also boosted reseller activity, as resellers keen to profit from downline commissions were able to monitor their own activities. In addition to allowing automatic adjustments of commissions for charge-backs and return orders, GlobeCharge also provided the option of reducing commission payments to lazy resellers who no longer made sales, but were keen to feed on downline payments. Increased sales, smoother network selling and improved network efficiency were achieved.
